Willans SILVERSTONE Approved to FIA 8853-2016
- Suitable for saloon and GT cars with appropriate mountings
- Six strap body harness with six vehicle attachment points using snap hook and eye bolt mounting
- All shoulder straps are 75mm wide webbing with lap with lap and ‘T’ crutch straps 50mm wide.
- All straps fully adjustable using Willans own aluminium alloy adjuster for control of wearer straps.
- Harness can be supplied with aluminium alloy adjusters on the shoulder straps only and with Willans own steel adjusters on the lap straps.
- Crutch straps are adjustable for individual drivers using 3 bar locker.
- Crutch straps are designed to stop driver submarining through the harness in high ‘g’ decelerations.
- A Willans aircraft type rotary multi-point quick release mechanism is used for central fastening.
- Shoulder and lap straps connect individually into the release mechanism.
- The ‘T’ crutch strap is permanently fixed to the 5th (lower) slot of the release mechanism (See 5th thumbnail)
